Is there an option for an employee to set themselves up for their payroll contributions to be 0%, but have a specific dollar amount set up to be contributed one time from a bonus?

Although there is no way to set up a one-time flat dollar amount, participants do have the ability to change their contribution rate at any time (including going from 0% to 1+%). Therefore, if employees want to contribute more or less when receiving a bonus, they’re able to change the percentage at any time by logging into their Guideline participant dashboard. So, if they have a bonus coming up and they want more or less deferred, they can go in and change the percentage. Please note: the contribution changes would need to take place before the bonus is processed in payroll; the change cannot be made retroactively. Once the payroll with that bonus runs, they can then change the percentage back to what they had originally.
