The way it works is pretty simple. You will run your payroll as normal and your employees’ contributions will be taken out of their paychecks, for employees who earn W-2 income. One business day following your pay date, Guideline will send an ACH to your company’s bank account for the total of your employees’ contributions, plus any matching contributions (if applicable) that you indicated during plan set up. These funds will then be allocated to the employees’ investment accounts within 5-7 business days of the ACH debit from your company bank account.
